OneCo's privacy policy
We respect your privacy and protect all your personal data that we process.
We care about your privacy
In light of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as GDPR), we would like to provide you with information about the data we process when you visit the OneCo website and in case we send you information. OneCo is the controller of your personal data, which means that we are responsible for how your personal data is collected and used. We respect your privacy and protect all your personal data that we process. All personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Our information collection and sharing practices are described below.
Personal data and information sharing
We collect certain personal data about you. "Personal data" is data that can be used to identify you or that we can otherwise link to you.
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example, when you communicate with us by email or other channels, when you register or ask us to send you newsletters, announcements or other materials, and when you access our website. The data we collect includes your name, postal address, email address, language preferences, job title and business contacts.
In some cases, your personal data has been supplemented with information obtained from other sources, including searches via publicly available search engines, sector-specific newsletters, social media and your employer's website to confirm your current professional position. For each visit to our website, we automatically identify your IP address, domain and browser. This information is not used to personally identify you. We use your IP address to help diagnose any problems with our server farm and internet connection. We do not sell, rent, distribute, market or otherwise make your personal data available to third parties. However, we sometimes collect this data internally and analyse it to improve the performance of our service and we may share information with our suppliers for the purposes set out below.
Our website contains links to other websites. OneCo is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
How we share the information we collect, international transfers
Only those persons who need to process personal data for the above-mentioned purposes have access to your personal data.
We may need to share your personal data with our office in Norway. For example, so that certain communications and invitations from there can also be sent to you. We may also need to allow our suppliers/contractors and subcontractors to access your personal data when they perform services on our behalf, mainly to maintain and support our IT systems or carry out other work.
Any transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA is done in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Our international transfers of personal data are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our basis for using your personal data
Our processing of personal data for the purposes explained in this privacy policy is based on our legitimate interests in maintaining business relationships and communicating with you, as a contact, about our business. We consider our legitimate interests to be consistent with the law and the legal rights and freedoms of our business contacts.
How long we will keep your personal data
Your personal data will be stored for the specified purposes mentioned above as long as you are a contact person of OneCo or as long as OneCo deems it necessary to store the personal data to ensure the legitimate interest of OneCo as a data controller under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Security measures to protect your personal data
We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss and to protect against access by unauthorised persons. Appropriate security measures we have taken include implementing secure private connections (VPN connections) for all transfers between offices. We regularly review our security policies and procedures to ensure that our systems are secure and protected.
Your choices and rights
We welcome your enquiries and comments. You have the right to know what personal data we process about you and can request a copy. You also have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you corrected and, in some cases, you can ask us to delete your personal data. You can also object to certain personal data about you being processed and request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. Please note that the restriction or erasure of your personal data may mean that we will not be able to communicate with you or provide requested materials. You also have the right to receive your personal data in machine-readable form and to transmit the data to another party responsible for data processing.
If you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data, you have the right to report this to the Swedish Data Protection Authority, which is the regulator for our processing of personal data.
