OneCo has replaced 2,000 access points in AcadeMedia schools
From Luleå in the north to Ystad in the south, OneCo has replaced access points at over 100 of AcadeMedia’s schools. By the final week of the summer holidays, all the equipment was in place and ready for the pupils when the schools reopened.
At OneCo, we install technical equipment in schools to ensure that their IT and network environments run smoothly. Just in time for this year’s summer holidays, it was time to replace thousands of access points at some of AcadeMedia’s schools with new ones. The old ones had reached the end of their useful life.
On site at the schools, everything from a few access points up to 50 would be replaced. OneCo would also draw up plans for all the locations, carry out tests and check that everything was working as it should. We did this in collaboration with AcadeMedia’s system operations partner.
Working at a fast pace at the start of the summer, OneCo completed the replacement of the access points the week before schools reopened. Pupils and their teachers can now continue to enjoy a stable wireless internet connection.
