OneCo contributes to Top Gears Speed Week on Gotland
In early September, Top Gear's Speed Week was recorded at the Gotland Ring. OneCo was on site to install fast charging for the production's electric cars.
Top Gear tested petrol, hybrid and fully electric car models during their Speed Week on the Swedish island. To handle the charging needs of the electric and hybrid vehicles, OneCo fast charger from Kempower on behalf of Nimbnet. The chargers feature liquid-cooled technology, which allows for higher charging power compared to air-cooled systems.
During the recording, the chargers were used to charge the production's electric and hybrid vehicles. One of the chargers delivered up to 272 kW for a continuous period of eight minutes, as measured during operation.
The installation means that following the filming of Top Gear, Gotland Ring now offers the public access to fast charging via Kempower's technology. Payment solution provided by Virta.
