Knowledge and procedures strengthen safety at OneCo

At OneCo, health and safety at work and electrical safety are a natural part of our everyday work. Safety is a responsibility we take very seriously, both as an employer and as a contractor. Our motto is clear: either we work safely, or we don't work at all. This applies to everything we do, from planning and risk assessment to how work is carried out on our sites.

Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen our systematic work environment management. We have taken important steps to create even safer workplaces for our employees through training, checks and follow-ups. This work covers both the overall work environment and electrical safety.

- Safety is not about individual actions, but about how we work every day. When the right knowledge, the right procedures and the right behaviours are in place, we create a truly safe working environment," says OneCo's HSSEQ Manager Jerry Lundh.

In-depth knowledge of asbestos and radon

In the area of asbestos, OneCo has conducted targeted training for employees who may work in environments where asbestos is present. The background is new legal requirements that came into force in December 2025, where the limit values have been lowered and more people are affected. The training provides a better understanding of what asbestos is, where it can be found and how risk assessments should be made when working in asbestos-related environments. It is important to emphasise that OneCo never handles or removes asbestos - the focus is on working safely in the vicinity, with the right protective equipment and the right decisions.

As regards radon, measurements were carried out during the winter 2025/2026 heating season. With the help of personal dosimeters and measurements in selected workplaces, we have been able to establish that no values exceed the applicable limit values. The results show that our work environments are safe from a radon perspective.

Safety rounds and safety walks in everyday life

Preventive health and safety management is an important part of OneCo's daily operations. In 2025, we conducted hundreds of safety rounds together with our safety representatives, supported by updated checklists developed by our internal HSSEQ team. In addition, we have conducted safety walks, where managers and leaders together with employees followed up on working methods, equipment and safety in the field.

Investing in electrical safety

OneCo is making major investments in electrical safety. Over the past year, we have conducted several internal training programmes, where our electrical safety coordinator has shared knowledge and experience of safe working methods, risk assessments and self-monitoring. Hundreds of employees - as well as external staff - have been upskilled on how we run our business.

OneCo wins safety award

As proof of the long-term and determined work in the field of occupational health and safety and electrical safety, OneCo Elevios Safety Award 2025. It is an award that reflects our shared commitment and focus on safe work.

Every day, our employees contribute to a safe working environment. At OneCo, safety always comes first.
