OneCo's sustainability efforts
We work systematically to reduce our environmental impact and resource consumption, improve health and safety at work, and ensure responsible working conditions and environmental considerations throughout our value chain.
Sustainability is an integral part of OneCo’s operations and governance. This work covers climate and the environment, social issues and business ethics.
We focus on the areas where our operations have the greatest impact and pose the greatest risk. Identified risks and impacts within our operations are monitored through targets, measures and regular reporting.
Our climate targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
Climate and the environment
Our carbon footprint
Our total emissions in 2025 amounted to approximately 29,065 tonnes of CO₂e (Scope 1–3).
Scope 1 covers direct emissions from the company’s own operations, Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from energy use, and Scope 3 covers emissions in the value chain.
- Approximately 10 % from own activities, mainly vehicles (Scope 1).
- Less than 1 % from energy use in buildings and electricity (Scope 2).
- Approximately 90 % from the value chain, such as the purchase of goods and services (Scope 3).
Concrete measures in the organisation
We are taking action to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and resource use, including by
- Electrification of the vehicle fleet.
- Energy efficiency of premises.
- Reduced area and co-location.
- Setting requirements and monitoring suppliers.
Our direct emissions (Scope 1) have decreased by around 43 % since 2020, mainly through a shift to electric vehicles and a reduction in the number of cars.
OneCo's climate targets have been approved by SBTi
We have set climate targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement. The OneCo Group's short-term target (2030) and long-term target (2050) were approved by Science Based Targets initiative (With this approval, we have recognised our historical impact and clarified our future targets to reduce emissions across the value chain.
We will:
- Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 42 % by 2030.
- Achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
- Ensure that suppliers accounting for 73 % of our emissions have their own science-based targets by 2028.
