Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference strengthens security together with OneCo

Many businesses are now replacing their traditional property keys with digital locking systems to get a better overview and control. At the Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference some doors still had old locks with physical keys. As keys were sometimes lost, the hotel realised that it was time to upgrade the old locks to an electronic system. In the spring, OneCo was on site in Fiskebäckskil to install a new locking system for staff doors.

The new access control system installed by OneCo is fully battery-powered and requires no complicated electrical installations in doors or frames. The system has been installed both indoors and outdoors and can be easily updated without replacing previous investments. Now hotels and conference centres have full control over who has access to different rooms. This greatly improves security.

- It's much smoother now that we can programme so that only authorised people can enter the rooms. It also means increased security because not everyone has access to all rooms. Only those who need it for their work tasks are given access," says Anette Ljunggren, hotel manager at Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference.

Instead of having to replace the entire locking system, hotels and conference centres can now easily deprogram the electronic key if someone loses it. In addition, if an incident occurs in a room, they will be informed of which key has been used for that particular lock.

OneCo has previously installed WiFi solutions and camera surveillance at Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference. This means that the hotel can offer a comprehensive security solution.
