Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference strengthens security together with OneCo

Many businesses are now replacing their traditional property keys with digital locking systems to get a better overview and control. At the Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference some doors still had old locks with physical keys. As keys were sometimes lost, the hotel realised that it was time to upgrade the old locks to an electronic system. In the spring, OneCo was on site in Fiskebäckskil to install a new locking system for staff doors.

The new access control system installed by OneCo is fully battery-powered and requires no complicated electrical installations in doors or frames. The system has been installed both indoors and outdoors and can be easily updated without replacing previous investments. Now hotels and conference centres have full control over who has access to different rooms. This greatly improves security.

– It’s much more convenient now that we can set the system so that only authorised people can enter the rooms. It also means greater security, as not everyone has access to all the rooms. Only those who need access for their work are granted it,” says Anette Ljunggren, hotel manager at Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference Centre.

Instead of replacing the entire locking system, hotels and conference centres can now simply deactivate the electronic key if someone loses it. Furthermore, should anything happen in a room, they will be informed which key was used for that particular lock.

OneCo has previously installed Wi-Fi solutions and CCTV at the Gullmarsstrand Hotel and Conference Centre. As a result, the hotel now has a comprehensive security solution.
