Defence becomes OneCo's fourth business area

As of 1 January 2024, the former Telecom business Defence is a separate business area within OneCo Networks AB.

Defence's main task is to maintain the Defence Telecommunications Network and until the end of 2023/beginning of 2024 it was part of the Telecommunications business area. The business is growing and has recently reached a size that justifies it becoming a separate business area. With the potential to continue to develop.

- There is a great need for these services among our customers. Together with my colleagues, I look forward to continuing to recruit new competent employees to meet the challenges our customers face. It is complex business, but together we will do everything to continue to deliver what is needed and expected of us," says David Hellström, who will now be business area manager at Defence.

In this new role, David Hellström is also part of OneCo's Swedish management team.

OneCo Networks AB is made up of four business areas with different activities; Telecom, Power, Power Engineering and Defence.
